This article talks about the digitization of Paul Klee’s notebooks from when he taught at the Bauhaus from 1921 to 1931. While I love notebooks in general, this image stuck out to me due to its resemblance to a polar area chart. Granted I don’t think it was meant as an informationĀ visualization (admittedly, I don’t know German, but I can pretty confidently say it has something to do with color), it seems to be a reminder that art and infovis overlap in fun ways.
